International Students

Concept Interactive Institute welcomes international students to study full time at its Cape Town campus or via distance education. The process of registering as an international student (i.e. non-South African citizen) is different from a local South African registration. As such, it is important to read the information below to understand the process of an international registration.

• Firstly, Concept Interactive Institute has three annual intakes, one in February, one in July and one in September.
• Secondly, admission for international students is subject to meeting the South African legal requirements as stipulated by the Immigration Act No 13 of 2002.

In order for a holder of a foreign school-leaving qualification to study with us, we would require that the student has achieved the equivalent of a South African National Senior Certificate.

International Students Registration Steps

1. Choose the course you wish to study and complete and sign the Concept Interactive Institute Registration Form. Email it to info@conceptinteractive.co.za  REGISTER HERE
2. Pay the Registration fee of US$100 via international eft. The Company and Banking Details are:Registered name of company:

1. As soon as possible, submit the following documents to info@conceptinteractive.co.za
   • A copy of student’s final results or second term school report (for provisional acceptance)
   • A copy of student’s identity document (Passport)
   • A copy of parent’s identity document (Passport)
2. Submit a certificate of equivalence proving that the student has at least the equivalent school leaving certificate of a NQF level 4 from SAQA for Higher Certificate programmes or the Diploma. Information  on the process can be found at http://www.saqa.org.za/show.php?id=5741 and the online application form can be found at https://dfqeas.saqa.co.za/dfqeas/user/home Alternatively, for a service fee of USD100, we can do this for you. If you choose this option, please send an email to info@conceptinteractive.co.za and request a SAQA Certificate of Equivalence.
3. Once the college is in receipt of this information, a provisional acceptance letter will be granted to successful students, signed by the Principal. This letter needs to be used in the process of applying for a Study Visa. Study visas can be completed online. One example is http://www.savisas.com/study-visa-south-africa/ Alternatively, for a service fee of USD120, we cn do this for you. If you choose this option, please send an email to info@conceptinteractive.co.za and request a Study Visa.
4. Submit proof of medical aid that covers you for 12 months for every year that you enrol at the college. A full list of authorised medical aid providers can be found at http://www.savisas.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/South-African-Medical-Aid-Schemes.pdf
5. Submit a certified copy of your valid Study Permit.
6. The college will then issue a full acceptance letter to successful applicants. Please note that at this stage, should your application be unsuccessful, 40% of the US$ equivalent Registration fee paid will be refunded.
7. The student will then be required to pay between  50% and 100% of the annual tuition course fee prior to commencement of studies, and the same if you choose Tuition + Accommodation.
